A TOTAL of 222 babies were delivered by NHS Fife in November.
Of these, 114 were boys and 108 were girls, including three sets of twins, seven water births and four home births.
Maeva and Luca were the most popular names for new arrivals and the heaviest baby was weighed at 4,885g – around 10lbs and 12ozs.
The busiest day was November 10, when there were 12 births.
Skin-to-skin contact at birth was enjoyed by 89 per cent of babies while the breastfeeding rate was 74 per cent.
