DUNFERMLINE'S Kirsten Adamson will be one of 1,000 international musicians due to take part in Glasgow's Celtic Connections festival.
The singer-songwriter, who is the daughter of The Skids and Big Country legend Stuart Adamson, will take to the stage at Oran Mòr to launch her new album, Landing Place.
Celtic Connections 2023 will mark the festival's 30th year, it is the largest winter event of its kind in Europe, and involved hundreds of performances, talks, workshops, theatre productions, ceilidhs, exhibitions, and late-night sessions.
It celebrates traditional folk, roots, Americana, jazz, soul and world music as well as the resilience of the Scottish music scene and live entertainment industry.
Kirsten will perform on January 26 as part of the event, which runs between January 19 and February 5 at venues across the city, and tickets are available online at celticconnections.com.
