SNOW has caused severe disruption across West Fife this morning with several crashes reported as drivers struggle on the roads.

Schools have also taken a hit - Bellyeoman Primary reassured parents earlier today that while the building would remain open, staff had struggled to get to work.

There have also been reports of internet and phone line issues, leaving Inverkeithing High School and Primary with no forms of communication.

Drivers warned that the following roads have been causing problems: Allan Crescent, Dunfermline; Halbeath Road, Dunfermline; Lapwing Drive, Dunfermline; Whitelaw Road, Dunfermline; Sunnyside Road, Oakley; Broomhead Drive, Dunfermline; Aberdour Road, Dunfermline; Old Perth Road, Kelty; Main Street, Carnock and Main Street, Saline.

Several crashes were reported early this morning, including one on the M90 northbound, one on Old Perth Road between Kelty and Cowdenbeath, and one in Carnock.

There have been no updates on road closures from Police Scotland or any delays to ScotRail services, which are limited today due to strike action.
