TO HELP West Fife children stay active over the festive period, the Fife Sports and Leisure Trust is giving the gift of swimming.

The region’s leading provider of sports and leisure services is giving approximately 9,000 swim vouchers to families who have enrolled in their Learn to Swim or junior activity programmes that will entitle them to free swimming during the Christmas holiday.

Lee Cunningham, activities manager for Fife Sports and Leisure Trust, said: “We wanted to say thank you to all the families have who supported the trust over the year and also give youngsters a chance to stay active and have fun over the Christmas holidays. We hope as many families as possible can take advantage of the offer.”

Voucher-holders will be able to swim for free between Monday, December 27, and Sunday, January 8.

Dunfermline's Carnegie Leisure Centre will stay open from December 27 to Thursday, December 30 inclusive to ensure that families can use their free swim pass.

Other Fife Sport and Leisure Trust centres will be closed from Friday, December 23, to Monday, January 3, while Duloch Leisure Centre will be closed from Thursday, December 22, to Thursday, January 5. Check festive opening times and other offers at www.fifeleisure.org.
