CRAFT beer and live music will draw crowds in Dunfermline as the Big Swally is set to return.

But you'll need to be fast to pick up tickets – there are only 40 left for the Friday night while the Saturday is sold out.

The event, brought to the Glen Pavilion by the Caledonian Craft Beer Merchant, was a huge success last year when it was given the go-ahead finally after two years of delays due to the pandemic.

This year will see the programme spread over two days in March – Friday, March 10, and Saturday, March 11 – with the same beer and music line-ups due to appear at both sessions.

Live acts confirmed to play in the smaller of the two halls are Craig Anderson, solo for the events but also one half of The Cognac Twins who performed last year, Stuart Bell and Sophie De Rose.

Colin Gardner opened the Caledonian Craft Beer Merchant shop in Maygate in April 2019 and had planned a one-year celebration event to be held at the Glen Pavilion.

Unfortunately, it had to be cancelled due to the pandemic but took place in 2022 and was sold out months in advance.

Those lucky enough to get their hands on tickets will be able to sample a range of excellent craft beers made by some of the best craft breweries in Scotland and England, as well as cider and cocktails.

A second date was added for 2023 after Saturday tickets disappeared in just one week.

Tickets for the Friday session, which will run from 5.30pm until 10pm, are on sale directly from the Caledonian Craft Beer Merchant shop for £15.
