WHAT do Fife Council and Stagecoach East have in common? An inability to display the correct time to the public.

The City Chambers clock facing up the High Street is by now a standing joke, permanently showing 10.25, but at least it’s right twice a day.

In the case of Stagecoach East, it’s no laughing matter. Their coach clocks are never accurate and no doubt mislead passengers into missing connections, perhaps even flights.

Stagecoach is in receipt of substantial sums of taxpayers’ money but refuses to invest in accurate clocks. They could at least invest in tape to cover them over but that would be too easy, wouldn’t it ?
