A CYCLIST has been taken to hospital after being knocked off their bike in Rosyth.

Police and ambulance crews were called to the roundabout at Admiralty Road and Brankholm Brae after being alerted to the accident on Monday.

The extent of the 54-year-old casualty's injuries is not known.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 11.55pm on Monday, 23 January, police received a report of a crash involving a vehicle and cyclist at the roundabout at Admiralty Road and Brankholm Brae, Rosyth.

"The 54-year-old cyclist was taken by ambulance to hospital."
