A 20-YEAR-OLD was caught driving when banned after a row with his then partner.

Liam Stewart, of Lansdowne Crescent, Kincardine, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.

He admitted that on October 22, at Lansdowne Crescent, he shouted, swore and acted aggressively towards his partner, made threats to damage property, threw items around and followed her when she was in a vehicle travelling to her home.

He also admitted he drove when disqualified and without insurance.

Defence solicitor Stephen Morrison said: “She was also shouting at him and throwing things, he tells me. The relationship seems to have been toxic and he fully accepts it is over.”

Sheriff Craig McSherry imposed a community payback order with 200 hours of unpaid work and 12 months of supervision.

Stewart was also banned from driving for two years and fined £300.
