BUDDING West Fife thespians produced some success at the drama festival at the weekend.
Dalgety Players' youth team showed it was a top act by winning the youth section of the Scottish Community Drama Association Fife's one act play festival.
At the event in Kirkcaldy, they presented a new Scots play, 'A Weaver's Tail', by Peter K Franklin about the actions of Jamie Blake, a famous Dunfermline weaver and his adventure in obtaining the secret of the weaving of Damask.
The cast, who were under the direction of Kathryn Bandeira, will now represent Fife at the Eastern Divisional finals at Bathgate
on March 12.
Introductory music for the show came from the charity CD 'Dunfermline Weavers' which is obtainable from Mactoots Recordings.
