ALPACAS, live music, and a catwalk show will all feature in a wedding fair this weekend at Dunfermline's Kingsgate Centre.

The event will involve around 22 small businesses from photographers to wedding dress companies and kilt makers.

Organisers are hoping it will be a hit after two previous successful occasions when hundreds of soon-to-be brides and grooms attended.

Natasha Norbury, market operator, said: "We did one at the end of last year and one in March last year and March seems to do better.

"It's great we can take full advantage of the space, after the first one the centre manager said they had the highest footfall in years.

"The traders were really impressed, each of them got bookings, that's the main thing, we want to get them promoted and get them bookings.

"There will be more variety this time, we have a 360 degree video booth and it's more interactive.

"People enjoy just being there in general, the shops in the centre are happy too, it means there's something happening in the centre and in that space."

The fair, which is free to enter, will run from 10am until 4pm on Saturday, March 18, and between 11am and 4pm on Sunday March 19.

The first day will include a catwalk between 12pm and 2pm which will feature wedding and bridesmaid dresses, kilts, flower girls dresses, page boy outfits, and dresses for guests.

On the Sunday wedding singer Fiona Mackenzie will be performing and Claireville Alpacas will be in attendance both days.

There will also be a free competition and goodie bags.
