A 49-year-old shoplifter helped himself to £38-worth of meat at a Dunfermline shop.
The culprit was Peter Mitchell, of the James Bank Hostel, Dunfermline.
He admitted that on September 3, 2021, at the Co-op store, Townhill Road, he stole a quantity of meat.
Sentence had originally been deferred on Mitchell for him to stay out of further trouble but he failed to do so.
As a result, Mitchell appeared again for sentencing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
Sheriff Susan Duff fined Mitchell £60.
