A HIGH Valleyfield man has received a jail term for having an air weapon in his home without a certificate.
David Smith, 40, of Catherines Wynd, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court by video-link from prison, having been jailed for another matter.
He admitted that on February 5, 2021, at his home he was in possession of an air weapon without holding a certificate for it.
Police had been executing a search warrant in connection with another matter when they came across the weapon.
Sheriff Charles Lugton jailed Smith for 65 days to run concurrently with his existing sentence.
