A 45-year-old man has been jailed for a catalogue of crime going back more than 18 months.

Paul Reid was previously of Dunfermline, Rosyth, Lochgelly and Cowdenbeath and latterly of no fixed abode.

His frequent offending occurred at various locations including the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy.

Reid appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court to be sentenced for a series of convictions and was jailed for 10 months.

On February 12 at West End Bar, Main Street, Lochgelly, he stole a quantity of alcohol and soft drinks.

On a number of occasions between September 22 and 23 last year at High Street, Cowdenbeath and Lochleven Road, Lochore, he approached two people unknown to him, engaged them in conversation and made menacing remarks to them.

He approached one of the females and repeatedly shouted, swore, adopted an aggressive demeanour and pursued her.

On October 31 last year at Dunfermline bus station, Queen Anne Street, he urinated in public.

On March 12 last year at Good News Store, Park Road, Rosyth, he stole a quantity of alcohol.

He also acted in an aggressive manner and repeatedly made threats of violence.

On September 23, 2021 at Pitcorthie Drive, Rowan Grove, Dunfermline police station and Victoria Hospital, he repeatedly shouted, swore and repeatedly made threats of violence.

On September 24, 2021 at Victoria Hospital, he repeatedly shouted, swore, made threats and made a homophobic comment to a police officer.
