CULROSS residents are being warned of disruption as resurfacing work will see a road leading out of the village closed for six weeks.
The C5 road from the junction of the A985 to the junction of Back Causeway will shut from 7.30am this Monday, April 3, until 4pm on Friday, May 19, so carriageway patching works can take place.
The alternative route for through traffic will be via the A985, the B9037 and Low Causeway.
A letter to affected residents says the works will begin at Burnside Cottage and proceed West to Longannet.
While it is being carried out, there will be restricted access from side roads and access will be subject to the contractors' work programme.
Waste bin uplifts will still take place but may be at different times, while public and school transport will be diverted/altered.
