NEW tenants are being sought for an empty shop unit in Dalgety Bay which have been vacant since the closure of RS McColls and the town's Post Office.
The premises, owned by Tesco, are currently being marketed for let.
An advertisement for the properties said the unit is situated in the town's commercial hub which is anchored by Tesco Metro.
It adds: "The premises comprise a single storey terraced shop unit with excellent display window to the front."
Posting on Facebook, local councillor David Barratt said he had raised the subject of the Post Office provision with Tesco.
"I had approached Tesco to ask if they might take on the Post Office themselves or if they could do anything else to support others doing so," he said.
"They have confirmed they will not being taking it on themselves and that the unit is available to complementary users to maintain the vitality of the centre."
