A GROUP of motorists have generously donated over £600 to the kids in the Victoria Hospital this Easter.
Members of the Kingdom of the Fife Group of Advanced Motorists, who aim to improve road safety by giving guidance and courses on passing the Institute of Advanced Motorists test, donated the money and used it to buy gifts for the ward as part of their bi-annual drive for the hospital.
The group, which is made up of car and motorcycle drivers, do two fundraising drives a year, one at Christmas and one at Easter. This year, their Easter fundraiser raised a whopping £615, which they then used to purchase toys, arts and craft sets and shower gift sets for the Children's ward.
All of the donations made to the group were greatly appreciated. They members were grateful to The Works in the Kingsgate in Dunfermline, who generously gave them a discount on the toys and activity packs they purchased there.
The motorcyclists of the group got together to deliver the donations on Saturday, April 8, with some even decorating their helmets like the Easter Bunny to bring extra cheer to the patients and staff.
