MEMBERS of the Marie Curie Fundraising Group in Dalgety Bay will be taking on a sponsored walk this weekend.
Seven women will be taking part in the five mile trek from Dunfermline to Dalgety Bay on Saturday, April 15, in an effort to raise funds for the Marie Curie Nursing Teams.
The walk will be led by Alice McEwan, a well known local walker, and will start at Calais Muir Wood in Dunfermline. Sybil Cobban, Ann Whiting, Jennifer Marshall, Fay Fairley, and Isabel and Laura Stanners will all be lacing up their walking shoes and taking part.
All the money raised will be donated to the Marie Curie Nursing Teams who provide care and support to those living with a terminal illness.
