A DUNFERMLINE restaurant has announced the return of their children's cooking classes.

Kushi's on Canmore Street will be running these free sessions to teach the children about India's rich heritage and cuisine.

Announcing the return of the classes, Kushi's wrote on Facebook: "In the spirit of our beloved Mrs Khushi, we are proud to announce the return of our children's classes combining the love of cooking with the rich cultural heritage of India.

"We have run these classes in the past with great success and we hope to give back to our community once again. These sessions are of course free of charge.

"The Indian Cooking and Cultural Class is designed to provide children in primary school with a fun and interactive way to learn about the diverse cuisine and culture of India. The classes include information on the process of preparing traditional dishes, interesting facts and stories about India's history and culture and of course enjoying some food.

"This is an excellent opportunity for children to broaden their horizons and gain a deeper appreciation for the rich heritage of India.We look forward to the opportunity to share our love of Indian cooking and culture with you."
