SCHOOL pupils in Dunfermline are being given the opportunity to "punch beyond" conflict alongside Police Scotland.
Youngsters from Dunfermline High School have already taken part in this year's Punch Beyond initiative, which aims to give participants a healthy outlet to learn about self-discipline.
Previously the course has also been offered to Queen Anne, Woodmill, St Columba's, and Inverkeithing high schools.
The programme was first launched by Constable Scott Morgan in 2019 and focusses on how conflict may ignite, personal safeguarding, private relationships, and consent.
Those involved learn how these issues relate to the police, and how officers deal with violent situations when they arise.
The sessions, held at Trench Boxing Club, also help teenagers to create a good relationship with exercise and give them an opportunity to channel their energy.
