THE driver involved in a crash on the M90 yesterday (Sunday) had to be rushed to hospital.

The vehicle was involved in a one car collision on the M90 Southbound from Kinross to Kelty at Junction 5 on Sunday evening.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.55pm on Sunday, 30 April, police were called to Junction 5 southbound on the M90, following a one-vehicle crash.

"Emergency services attended and the driver was taken to Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy."

While emergency services responded to the crash, traffic on the road was restricted to one lane.

The spokesperson added: "The road reopened around 7.10pm."
