MORE success was served up for a Dunfermline eatery this week after it scooped a top honour at the Scottish Curry Awards.

Dhoom Indian Streatery was awarded the title of 'Most Wanted Restaurant of the Year' at the prestigious ceremony in Glasgow.

The event recognised and celebrated the talents and hard work of individuals and businesses within the Scottish curry industry and celebrated the country's rich and diverse curry culture.

Owner and chef Dhaneshwar Prasad was delighted with the latest accolade.

"We are truly thrilled and over the moon," he said. "This is a nationwide recognition for an independent restaurant based in the newest city in the country.

"Thanks to Oceanic Events for an amazing evening, we sincerely appreciate the entire family of Dhoom for their hard work and dedication. This is a dream come true moment for us, once again to become the most wanted restaurant of Scotland and putting Dunfermline in the culinary map.

"Once again, I would like thanks our entire team of Dhoom, family, friends, well wishers and all of our guests for making Dhoom the very best in the country."
