POLICE were called out after a car reportedly flipped near Crossford.
Witnesses said officers closed Waggon Road while they dealt with the incident.
Emergency services were alerted to the crash at around 3.35pm on Thursday afternoon.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 3.35pm on Thursday, 4 May, police were called to a report of a road crash on Waggon Road, Crossford.
"Officers attended and the vehicle was later recovered."
The Press understands that nobody was taken to hospital as a result.
