WORK is still ongoing to make safe the building of a Dunfermline restaurant hit by a major fire last month.
Road closures remain in place as work continues at Khushi's with one city centre business confirming it will remain closed over the weekend.
Fabric said safety of customers was "paramount".
In a post on Facebook, a statement from the bar's management team said: "Work has started on Khushi's to make the building safe. However, it is highly unlikely that work will be completed by tomorrow.
"We will, therefore, remain closed this weekend, pending completion of works next week.
"Thank you for your patience. The safety of our guests is paramount."
Fire crews were called to the blaze above the restaurant on April 21.
Following the incident, Khushi's owner Riaz Mohammed said they had been left "devastated" by the tragedy which would see the eatery closed until further notice.

In a statement, Mr Mohammed gave thanks to the firefighters and emergency service personnel who "bravely extinguished the fire and ensured everyone's safety during the incident."
