THE Alhambra Theatre hosted a night of music as schools from across Fife came together for the Glee finals.

Tulliallan Primary came out on top after seven choirs performed two songs each for a panel of five judges and audience full of family and friends.

Scottish boyband Just the Brave also attended to play for the crowds.

Competing primary schools, St Margaret's RC, Kelty, Valley, Castlehill, Tulliallan, Ladybank and Commercial, were judged in four areas – vocals, visuals, teamwork and performance.

Tulliallan took to the stage to sing Love Song to the Earth and then their own choice, Colours of the Wind.

After deliberations, it was decided that the pupils' confident singing, great staging and choreography, and polished performance deserved the top position.

The first runner up was St Margaret's RC and second was Castlehill.

Members of the winning choir said they performed with "passion and confidence" and that they were "grateful" for the chance to be there.

They also thanked their families and friends for their support.

A spokesperson for organisers the Frisson Foundation said: "Our congratulations to all the schools and especially to our winners, Tulliallan Primary School.

"It was a fantastic night, a true show, brilliant choirs and great fun.

"I think the children, teachers and school staff, carers and parents will remember for a long time"

Tulliallan Primary School will now go to the national finals to be held at The Caird Hall in Dundee next month.
