A 41-year-old man has been jailed for a vicious attack committed at Dunfermline bus station.
Jason Maxwell, of Erskine Wynd, Oakley, appeared from custody at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on January 22 last year at Dunfermline bus station, Queen Anne Street, he assaulted a man by punching him to the head, causing him to fall to the ground.
He thereafter punched him on the head to his severe injury and permanent disfigurement.
Sheriff Charles Macnair jailed Maxwell for a total of 22 months and 14 days.
