A Dunfermline care home is celebrating after making it through to the finals of the Stars of Social Care Awards 2023.
Canmore Lodge is in the running for two awards.
The hopeful finalists are Jane Aitken, Senior General Manager, who is up for the Inspirational Care Home Manager Award, and the staff team at Canmore Lodge, who are up for the Above & Beyond Team Award.
The prestigious awards aim to shine a light on the stars of social care, paying tribute to the workforce, who through dedication and a commitment to care, go above and beyond to support those who are most vulnerable.
Jane said: “I know how I feel about my team, however it is great for them to receive recognition for all they do for our residents and me. I am very fortunate to have the opportunity to work with an excellent team who allow me to be inspired daily. I am so proud of them to make it to the finals and delighted to be a finalist with them.”
The Stars of Social Care Awards ceremony will be held on Saturday, June 17, at the London Marriott Hotel and will be hosted by ITV’s This Morning presenter Josie Gibson.
