PUPILS at Milesmark Primary School have drawn up inspiration to encourage dog owners to pick up after their pet.

Fife Council will use posters created by youngsters in the surrounding area to help prevent dog fouling.

The chosen artworks were created by Millie, Lucie, Caitlin and Zoe.

One tells dog walkers: "There is no such thing as a dog poo fairy."

Another reads: "Want to start Yoga? Start for free by bending over to pick up your dog's poo called the downwards dog position."

And Another catchy tagline says: "Kids want to play. Pick up your dog's poo."

Dog waste can be thrown away in any litter bin or households' own landfill bins.

A statement from the local authority added: "We know that most dog owners clean up after their dog and take pride in their local community, but if you do spot any cases of dog fouling, please report it online www.fife.gov.uk/dogs."
