A MAN has died after a crash at Knockhill Racing Circuit on Friday.
The 38 year-old was rushed to the Victoria Hospital after the incident but died on Sunday.
The man has been named locally as Chris Adam from Renfrewshire.
Posting on Facebook, his brother Blair said: "It’s with the heaviest of hearts I’m writing this as my brother, Chris Adam, has sadly passed away today after succumbing to his injuries sustained on Friday during his track day at Knockhill. Rest easy brother."
Inspector James Henry of Fife Road Policing said: "On Friday, 19 May, 2023, officers were made aware of a crash on track at Knockhill racing circuit, Dunfermline, involving a motorbike.
"The incident happened around 12.10pm and a 38-year-old man was taken by ambulance to the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy where he died on Sunday, May 21, 2023.
“Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man at this difficult time.
"A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
