A DUNFERMLINE man sent abusive messages to his former partner over a period of a year.
Blake Priestley, 30, of Merlin Drive, appeared for sentencing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that between June 1, 2021 and June 1, 2022, at Nith Street, he sent messages to a woman in which he made derogatory remarks and threatened her, with the offences domestically aggravated.
Depute fiscal Amy Robertson said Priestley sent eight voicemails which contained abusive language including, “You f****** loser c***”.
Defence solicitor Elaine Buist said her client felt his former partner was being difficult regarding contact arrangements with his son.
She added: “He accepts the messages were deeply unpleasant.”
Sheriff Francis Gill imposed a community payback order with 80 hours of unpaid work.
