A NEW service lauched by FlixBus will provide a direct link from West Fife to south-west England.
The daily cross country route will see buses leaving Dundee, stopping at Perth, Dunfermline, Edinburgh, Manchester and Birmingham, before reaching their final destination - Bristol.
Andreas Schorling, managing director of FlixBus UK said: “As the weather finally warms up, we know more passengers than ever will be looking for affordable, reliable and sustainable travel options around the country.
"We’re excited to be expanding our network to keep up with huge consumer demand for our green coaches!"
In addition, the mobility provider will be adding Carlisle as a destination on this route.
FlixBus will also be bringing services to and from Perth, opening up new travel opportunities for passengers in West Fife.
These services will connect to Glasgow, Stirling, Perth Park and Ride, Edinburgh and Dunfermline, in addition to existing FlixBus routes between Aberdeen, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
He continued: “Meanwhile, we have kept the country moving throughout the rail strike disruptions of the past year, and next week will be no different.
"Coach continues to be the unsung hero of the transport industry, as thousands of people depend on our services to travel.”
FlixBus tickets are available to purchase through their app or website from £2.99.
