TRIBUTES have poured in for Reece Rodger after his body was found close to the spot where he was last seen in Perthshire.

Dad-of-two Reece, who was from Rosyth and lived in High Valleyfield, disappeared while camping in the Kinloch Rannoch area.

His body was recovered on the north shore of Loch Rannoch on Saturday.

Posting an emotional tribute on the Please help to find Reece Facebook page, his partner Paula Airzee said they were "truly broken" by the news.

"Reece we have you," she stated. "You are coming home.

"It was never meant to be this way. We had a very different future mapped out – one where we were together to the end. Our end come so much sooner than we had ever planned.

"In time when we’re feeling up to it, myself and Reece’s family will provide updates, but for now, thank you to each and everyone one of you for your love and support.

"Reece you were our everything and to say we are truly broken is an understatement. Our boys have lost their hero and I’ve lost my soul mate.

"Goodnight for now, fly high my angel.

"I will love you forever."

A post on Valleyfield Community Council's Facebook page said: "Very sad news for our village yesterday. Sending our love to all Reece’s family, especially his partner Paula & their two boys. Anything we can do or help with please just let us know."

Hundreds of tributes have poured in on the Please Help to Find Reece Facebook page since the weekend.

One read: "I’m absolutely heartbroken for all of Reece family and friends. Please know a thousand strangers are reaching out to you today to show you are not alone and you are loved. Special love for Paula and the boys."

Another said: "Reece was one in a million and loved by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him" while another stated: "This news is utterly heartbreaking. I hope the only comfort you can find is knowing you can bring Reece home to his family, thinking of you all at this very sad time."

Reece was reported missing on Sunday, March 19 when he disappeared while camping in the Kinloch Rannoch area.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Around 10.45 am on Saturday, 27 May 2023, the body of a man was discovered on the north shore of Loch Rannoch.

"Although the deceased has yet to be formally identified, the family of Fife man Reece Rodger (28), who was last seen on the north shore of Loch Rannoch on Saturday, 18 March 2023, has been made aware.

"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
