EMERGENCY crews raced to the scene of a crash on a busy motorway this morning.
The incident occurred around 9.30am on the M8 Westbound near junction 5 (Shotts, Harthill, Salsburgh).
It is unknown if any injuries were reported, but plans are in place for the recovery of the vehicle.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers were called around 9.30am on Wednesday, May 31, to a report of a crash on the westbound M8 near junction 5 and the vehicle will be recovered."
