This year's sold-out Fife Business Awards in association with Blackadders and Henderson Loggie, took place at The Old Course Hotel, St Andrews.

The award ceremony continues to grow year on year, this year seeing the venue at capacity with 410 guests coming together to recognise the best in Fife Business.

The evening, once again hosted by Fred MacAulay, treated guests to an array of entertainment, of fine food, and most importantly, celebrated the determination and resilience of businesses from all sectors, across Fife.

"As coheadline sponsors of the Fife Business Awards we are proud to have been part of such a successful event celebrating the excellence of businesses in the region," said David D Smith, managing partner, Henderson Loggie.

"The awards ceremony was a fantastic opportunity to showcase the work of Fife’s outstanding businesses and their contribution to the local economy. We are honoured to have played a part in supporting the growth and development of the awards and wish to congratulate all the winners and finalists for their achievements."

There were 13 award categories in total, plus the coveted Outstanding Business Award.

A Special Recognition Award was presented to Greens Retail Ltd, who despite just missing out on meeting all of the criteria required for an out-right win, the judges, following the behind the scenes visit, were left in awe of the palatable spirit, drive, endeavour, and resilience, and shared the firm conviction that they should be recognised in some way.

Outstanding Business Award is awarded to a business, at the discretion of Fife Council, and a select judging panel.

The award recognises outstanding achievement of a business that is exemplary in their field. A business that demonstrates excellence across a range of business areas.

Previous winners include James Donaldson & Sons Ltd, Briggs Marine, Ingenico Northern Europe Ltd, Exterity and Keela.

After a robust selection process, the businesses shortlisted were DPS Group, Haldane UK and Sephra.

The judges explained that the winner, Haldane UK, was chosen because it has firmly established itself as the UK's leading manufacturer of Timber Handrail Company, with unrivalled experience and knowledge.
