A MAN is due to appear in court in connection with a fire in Dunfermline on Wednesday evening.
Police Scotland have confirmed that a 36 year-old has been been arrested and charged in connection with the incident in Chalmers Street in which one person was treated for smoke inhalation.

A spokesperson for the force said: "A 36-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a fire on Chalmers Street, Dunfermline, which took place around 10.10pm on Wednesday, June 7, 2023.
"He is due to appear at Dunfermline Sheriff Court on Monday, June 12, 2023."
