THEY'RE getting a new £85 million school so it seemed apt that Inverkeithing High pupils attended a 'Build Your Future' event.
The introduction to the construction industry was held at the Scottish Parliament and the youngsters were met by local MSP Annabelle Ewing.
Pupils were on the tools with mini-masterclasses passing on the skills and tips of the trade, and it was hammer time for the politician too.

Ms Ewing said: "Build Your Future was a fantastic event and I really enjoyed finding out from young people involved in the construction industry about some of the many and diverse careers available.
“They even put a hammer and chisel in my hands and let me have a go at a bit of stonemasonry!

“The icing on the cake was the opportunity to meet up with a group of pupils from Inverkeithing High School who were one of the four schools participating from across the country.
"I hope they found the event as interesting and entertaining as I did.”
