FOUR new members have been welcomed onto the board of leading social care services provider Kingdom Support and Care.

Kelly Brown, Blair Louden and David Robertson were appointed following a successful recruitment campaign and are joined on the Board by Tom Barclay, Chief Executive of the Kingdom Group.

The new directors bring a wealth of experience to the organisation and a shared passion for delivering an unrivalled service to the people they work with and their families.

Founded as a Community Interest Company in April 2017, Kingdom Support & Care (KSC) provides over 8,500 hours of high-quality personalised support each week that helps people live independently in their own homes, living the lives they choose for themselves and achieving their full potential.

Paul White, Executive Director of Kingdom Support & Care, said, “I’m delighted that Blair, David, Kelly and Tom have joined the KSC Board and I look forward to working with them.

"They bring experience, knowledge and skills that will be of great benefit to our organisation and I know they share a passion for the life-changing work that we do.”

The new members, who make up half of the KSC Board, attended their first meeting at the start of June and come from diverse backgrounds, with significant experience in the energy, legal and retail sectors.

Employment law specialist, Kelly Brown, explained why she wanted to get involved with Kingdom Support and Care. She said: “I'm honoured and delighted to join the Board of Kingdom Support and Care, an organisation I've followed and admired for several years.

"Our commitment to "Great Support, Great Lives" is central to our work and I look forward to supporting the tireless efforts of the KSC team to improve the lives of those that they work with every day.”
