A FLAG raising service took place in Dunfermline on Monday to mark the beginning of Armed Forces Week.
The event was held outside the Glen Pavilion with members of the armed forced and civic dignitaries taking part.
As part of the week, a parade is also due to take place in Dunfermline today (Wednesday) at 11am.
The Royal Regiment of Scotland will march from the Carnegie Hall, along the High Street to the Glen Pavilion.
