THE viewing platform for the seal enclosure at North Queensferry's Deep Sea World has reopened.
Seal Harbour was closed earlier this month after a female harbour seal called Laura, gave birth to her male seal pup, Nova.
This closure allowed for an assesment to be made on Laura and Nova, and gave them some much needed privacy as they bonded together.
Now that Nova is beginning to grow into himsel, the Deep Sea World zoo team have decided to begin the reopening process, starting with allowing visitors to view the seals from the top platform of the harbour along with a non amplified informational talk by members of staff.
In the coming weeks, Seal Harbour will gradually reopen in full.
