HISTORICAL re-enactment is set to return to the Lathalmond Railway Museum this weekend. 

Shed47 Railway Restoration Group have announced the return of Lathalmond Wartime & Defend Fife for 2023 on Sunday, July 2. 

Encampments, military vehicles, various displays, new Polish content, WW1 and WW2 railways, the Dean Bowen memorial shield, battle display, visit the trenches, see inside an Anderson shelter, Polish dancing and more will all be on offer at the event this weekend. 

Funding to run secure historical re-enactment event was given by the Fife Council South and West Area Committee and The Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Edinburgh, 

The event will run from 10am to 4pm, entry is £5 per person and free for those aged 16 and under. 

Free parking is also available and a free hourly shuttle bus is on offer, leaving from bus stance 13 in the Dunfermline Bus Station. 

This free shuttle bus has been made possible by the Scottish Vintage Bus Museum, who will be open to ticket holders.
