Persimmon Homes will reveal its plans for a major housing development on farmland at the northern edge of Crossgates at a public consultation event tomorrow (Friday, July 21).

The housebuilding company has submitted a Proposal of Application Notice to Fife Council relating to a nine hectare site north of Manse Road and bordered by the A92. It's a joint initiative with Mr and Mrs David Orr, of Keirsbeath Farms Ltd.

“Persimmon is committed to investing in Fife and with around half of our customers first-time buyers, we’re proud to be opening up new home ownership opportunities for local families," he said.

“Over the coming weeks, we’ll be engaging closely with local residents to ensure the final proposals reflect their priorities and deliver real benefits for the Crossgates community.”

Tomorrow's public consultation meeting takes place from 3pm until 7pm, in the Main Hall at Crossgates Community Centre.

A further public consultation event will take place on Friday, September 1, again from 3pm until 7pm, in the Meeting Room at Crossgates Community Centre.
