YOUNG acting talent from West Fife will be taking to the stage at the Edinburgh Fringe in a world premiere musical.

They will be performing with the Kingdom Theatre Company, a registered charity which promotes new writing and training in the performing arts.

It will be the company's first youth production with score of well-known songs and originals written by Willie Logan.

The cast is made up of Jaimey Scullion, from Dunfermline, Amelie Christie, from Comrie, Theo Hart, from Dalgety Bay, and Zeke Young who is from Leven.

The show's director, Lorraine Dobie, is from Saline.

The musical follows Alan (Zeke), Jim (Jaimey), Carrie (Amelie) and Tony (Theo) as they navigate the world of dating apps and young love.

There will be 15 shows performed in the intimate Lime Theatre Greenside in Nicolson Square, running from August 4 until August 19 at 7.40pm.

There will be no show on August 13.

All cast and crew are local students gaining experience in performance and stage craft with tuition and guidance from industry professionals.

Kingdom Theatre Company was founded in 2013 and this year will be its ninth at the Fringe.

Sold out past shows include Kelty Clippie The Musical in 2018 and 2019.
