THE founder of children's favourite The Singing Kettle is celebrating 10 years as a solo performer and looking forward to returning to Dunfermline.

Artie Trezise will be performing his latest one-man show full of traditional songs at the Alhambra Theatre on August 27.

He said: "The Singing Kettle started from a love of Scottish songs and what better way to celebrate than with a show that features only Scottish songs.

"And I've got a load of them!"

Likely to feature are Singing Kettle classics, 'Shove Yer Granny', 'Aiken Drum' and 'The Train to Glasgow'.

And the audience won't be seated for the whole performance, children will be invited to get on their feet and do some dancing too.

Artie added: "This is the second generation of Singing Kettle fans.

"I love watching parents re-live their childhoods while at the same time the children are having a whale of a time."

Artie's Singing Kettle is on at 1.30pm with tickets available now via Ticketmaster.
