A SEX offender who has made little progress after more than two years on a court order has been given another last chance to avoid jail.
Richard Moody, 23, of King Street, Inverkeithing was put on a community payback order back in July 2021.
He had been sending sexual messages for more than a year to a girl who was only 14 at the time.
The order has been breached previously and Moody appeared back at Dunfermline Sheriff Court for an update on any progress.
In June, Sheriff Susan Duff had warned Moody: “I take a very dim view of people who are put on court orders then don’t comply with them.
“I’ll give you one more opportunity and you better put your back into it.”
With Moody back in the dock this week, Sheriff Duff noted there was “not much improvement” and told him: “You need to do much better.”
She told him she would give him a “last opportunity” and called for another review on September 6.
