A HIGH VALLEYFIELD woman has been sentenced again for spitting at a police officer more than four years ago.
Mhairi Waugh spat on the officer after a disturbance in 2019.
In December 2019, Waugh was put on a community payback order with unpaid work but it was breached and the case was returned to court.
More recently, sentencing was repeatedly delayed with Waugh not turning up for appointments for a social work report.
Waugh, 33, of Chapel Terrace, appeared back in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
She previously admitted that on May 1, 2019, at Westwood Place, Dunfermline and at Dunfermline police station, she behaved in a threatening or abusive manner by shouting, swearing, refusing to desist and making threats of violence.
Then at Dunfermline police station she assaulted a police officer by spitting on her.
Sheriff Robert More revoked the original order and imposed a new one with nine months of supervision.
