A ROSYTH man’s letter to his former partner has landed him a fine.
Kenneth Taylor, 46, of Mellor Court, appeared in the dock at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on February 4, 2020, he sent a letter to his former partner who he was not allowed to contact.
Depute fiscal Azrah Yousaf said Taylor had previously been a relationship with the man for 17 years.
Defence solicitor Stephen Morrison said, “It came to his attention he had been duped into making payments regarding a bank loan. It turned out it had nothing to do with him.
“This was eating away at him and he was heavily under the influence of alcohol at the time of the offence. He’s not proud of his behaviour.”
Sheriff Robert More fined Taylor £110 and imposed a non-harassment order for six months.
