BABCOCK have sought permission to extend a manufacturing bay at Rosyth Dockyard.
They've applied to Fife Council for a certificate of lawfulness for their plans, which include some demolition.
They plan to add a single storey extension to Bay 17, at the Babcock Marine Engineered Products Building on Watt Road, to allow installation of manufacturing machinery.

The application added: "In order to facilitate the new building, an existing temporary modular building and an existing brick building, housing a transformer, will require to be demolished."
The Rosyth site has 25 covered manufacturing bays with specially widened doors that can accommodate even the largest of projects.
