A WEST FIFE group will be performing at St Fillan's in Aberdour this weekend to mark the church's 900th anniversary.
Ensemble, the Kingdom's premier operatic concert group, will present a night of Bernstein and Sondheim music this Saturday, September 9.
Formed in 1983, the group was named after their aim to perform mainly ensemble items, rather than solos or duets, so that they can stress their collectiveness, not the members' individuality.
Saturday's programme includes songs from both composers' most famous collaboration, West Side Story, with hits such as America, One Hand One Heart, Tonight and gems from their individual successes such as New York, New York and Lucky to be Me (Bernstein, On the Town) and Being Alive (Sondheim, Company).
The show will run from 7.30pm to 8.45pm. Entry to the show is free, though donations are welcome.
