A PIECE of play equipment at a West Fife playpark is set to be fixed after being out of action for the summer holidays.

The flying fox in Blairhall has been damaged since June and local councillor Graeme Downie has now provided an update for local residents.

"Council Officers have been trying and falling to contact the original manufacturers to get a replacement but have now ordered from a different supplier," he said. "As soon as the part arrives, the flying fox will get fixed.

"I have expressed how disappointing it is that it was out of action for all of the school holidays but hopefully it will get fixed soon."
