MUSIC and laughter are topping the bill at Carnegie Hall with smash hits from Marti Pellow and comic patter from local fitba legends Jim Leishman and Dick Campbell.
Cultural charity OnFife have a new season of shows in their Autumn programme which also boasts a celebration of Mozart, a mini folk festival and a highly ranked military band.
Shows by funny man Bruce Fummey – star of BBC mini-series The Wedding – and award-winning comic Scott Gibson will help ensure there are loads of laughs for Dunfermline audiences.
And cinema buffs can revisit some classic movies on the big screen in the Films for a Fiver series.
OnFife’s community events and programme manager, Karen Taylor, said: “With those bright lights and buzzy crowds, theatre nights really come into their own at this time of year.

“Whether it’s comedy or classical, football or folk music - or simply chilling out with a film - then we have you covered this autumn.”
Events got underway last week with Limelight Productions' stunning presentation of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera and next up is the Royal Marines Band Scotland, who are performing a season of concerts on October 19, November 26 and December 1.
Scottish Variety Award winner Scott Gibson presents a rollercoaster ride of darkly comedic storytelling in Sledgehammer on October 20 and there's music royalty the following night.
Chart-topping singer Marti Pellow, formerly of Wet Wet Wet, is set to wow fans on October 21 with Pellow Talk, The Lost Chapter – an intimate exploration of the songwriter and the songs that make the man.
A Football Comedy Night on October 26 features former Dunfermline and current Arbroath boss Dick Campbell, ex-Motherwell player John Geoghan and Pars legend, Provost Jim Leishman.
Top tribute acts are playing the venue too.
The highly rated Desperados celebrate the music of the Eagles on October 27; Shape of You recreates the songs of Ed Sheeran on October 28; and Endless Love pays homage to Lionel Richie and Diana Ross on November 2.
And Europe’s No 1 multi-award-winning show, Country Legends of the Grand Old Opry, is back for another night of toe-tapping Tennessee nostalgia on November 16.

Also returning is the Wee Fife Folk Festival on October 28 with another great line-up – singer John Davidson, laid-back duo Twa Threeds and Scots/Asturian multi-instrumentalists Glastur.
Comedian and actor Bruce Fummey will be delivering his distinctive style of Scottish history-themed stand-up in Stories of Scotland on November 4.
Magical Mozart by Candlelight is a sumptuous, fully-costumed show that immerses its audience in the music of the mighty Wolfgang Amadeus on November 11.
Local favourites, the Kelty Musical Association will present a truly scrumptious version of Ian Fleming’s fantasmagorical Chitty Chitty Bang Bang on December 6.
And, as the Christmas countdown ramps up, movie fans can unwind with four classic films between December 13 and 20 - It’s a Wonderful Life, Elf, White Christmas and Polar Express.
