A woman threw a drink over her partner during a row in an Inverkeithing pub.
But Danielle Miller was then assaulted by a friend of her partner who knocked her out, Dunfermline Sheriff Court was told.
Appearing from custody was 29-year-old Miller, of Station Road, Leven.
She admitted that on May 22 at the Burgh Arms, High Street, Inverkeithing, she assaulted her partner by throwing a drink over him.
Defence solicitor David McLaughlin said: “Her partner had been winding her up and she threw a glass of beer at him. His friends then intervened and she was knocked unconscious by a male.”
Sheriff Susan Duff called for reports, bail was granted and Miller will be sentenced on November 8.
